Jiwoo's Dream Badge War
A Short tripleS Puzzle Game
After losing the badge betting game in the badge house, Jiwoo walked back to their lodging while contemplating what she just did. "At least I won't get into debt in the future. Losing two badges is after all worse than losing a million in a casino. I'll never do that ever again," she said to herself. Each step she took on the way was a wish asking to turn back time so she could win the golden badge.
She wore her poker face as she opened their door, clutching her jacket to cover her sash with two less badges on it. The girls were staring at her trying to find answers in her drained face. She tried extremely hard not to point the corners of her mouth upwards nor downwards as she approached and draped down the wall by the inviting corner.
Just as the gamemaster called Yubin's name, Jiwoo started playing back the moments other members were winning and not winning badges. She looked around and saw the members and the number of badges they got: Soomin with 5 badges, Joobin with 4 badges, Mayu with 2, Shion with 2, Nien 1, Seoah 2, and lastly Lynn with 3 badges. After a while, she fell asleep.
With a mysterious rolled paper in her hands, she curiously opened it and found the map that reminded her of the first mission. Instead of symbols around the place, she saw the members' faces - members she had thought of earlier.
A siren suddenly blared.
"S3 Jiwoo, welcome to the final game. Spread across the compound as shown in the map are members who have a puzzle for you. Solve their messages and find out who is the mastermind waiting for you at the badge house. After solving the members' riddles, they will give you a single-letter clue as to who the mastermind is that will help in solving the last puzzle. Reveal their real identity, and only then can you receive the golden badge. Your time starts now."
This is a puzzle game that uses cryptic crossword rules in order to be solved.A clue has two parts, (a) definition & (b) wordplay(a) Definition - is the answer to the clue, can be found either at the front or back of the clue.
(b) Wordplay - guides you to what to do with the clue.At the end of each clue is a number enclosed like this: (5), which tells you how many letters are in the word you're looking for.
Here is an example!
"Collect donkey emblem without its tail (8)"The answer for this clue is ASSEMBLE. A short synonym for donkey is ass and emblem without its tail or without its last letter is emble. Combining the two, we get assemble which has a similar definition as Collect.
